Learning is a social process involving creation of new knowledge and understanding, through individual learning, and group or peer interaction. This means that a key learning skill is that of "communication". Clear communication needs effective tools and channels, as necessary pre-requisites for collaborative learning.
Information Services Center is now offering video-teleconferencing services to the UET for long distance meetings, presentations, remote instruction and consultations worldwide.
UET, in collaboration with HEC, established a video conferencing room at UET Peshawar campus. The video conferencing room is equipped with latest video conferencing equipment and sound system.
It can be used for holding multi-party conferences without travailing, delivering and attenting courses, and interacting with other academics and partners across the globe.
Videoconferencing is already well established with a growing number of educational centers all over the world and it is a great step for UET in dissemination and acquisition of learning.
