University of Engineering & Technology has recently established an Advanced Technical Research Resource Center. The Rapid Prototyping Lab (RP-Lab), a part of the center is established in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The objective of the RP-Lab is to provide quality services to the industries in developing their products from basic concepts and ideas to the finished artifact. This includes making computer models, analyzing parts, optimizing the design, and producing a physical prototype for verifying all the design features.
The RP-Lab is equipped with facilities for 3-D scanning, Rapid Prototyping Machine, and Computer-Aided-Design using world-class, industry-standard software.
