ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
The Quality Enhancement Cell sincerely appreciates the support
and encouragement it has consistently been receiving from
the Higher Education Commission, especially from Chairman HEC
Prof. Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman, Executive Director HEC Prof. Dr.
Sohail Naqvi, Chairman QAC Prof. Dr. Abdul Raouf, Advisor QA &
LI Prof. Dr. Riaz Hussain Qureshi, Managing Director QAA Prof.
Dr. Azam Ali Khwaja, Program Coordinator QAA Ms. Fakiha Zafar,
and Training Coordinator QAA Ms. Tahreem Aslam. The HEC
support has been beneficial to the QEC in streamlining its
performance.
The QEC highly regards the encouragement it
has been receiving since its establishment from
the Vice Chancellor, Engr. Syed Imtiaz Hussain Gilani.
The QEC values the continuous support of Professor Dr. M.
Mansoor Khan, Dean, Faculty of Engineering. The assistance
from the Dean's office has helped in strengthening the
coordination between the QEC and engineering departments of
the university.
The QEC also appreciates the consistent assistance being
extended by the Department of Computer Science and Information
Technology (CSIT) under the directive of Chairman Dr.
Inayatullah Babar. The CSIT Department has assisted the QEC in
developing the graphic features of the QEC web. In addition,
the CSIT Department is helping the QEC by initiating the task
to online all 10 standardized Self Assessment Proformae of
Higher Education Commission. Completion of this task will help
ease and economize the process of collecting voluminous
feedback from diverse sources such as faculty, students,
alumni, and employers. This feedback will assist the
management to evaluate and improve the academic programs.
Finally, the QEC wishes to express its gratitude to Professor
Dr. Iftikhar A. Khan, Department of Electrical Engineering,
for his contribution by conducting a thorough proof reading
and editing of the initial draft of the web prepared by the
QEC.
