The courses of study leading to the Degree of B.Sc Civil Engineering have been planned to offer a broad spectrum of civil engineering subjects. The duration of courses is spread over four years. Beside Islamic Studies, Basic Sciences, the curriculum in civil engineering lays emphasis on design of structures, irrigation, geo-technical, transportation engineering and hydraulics.
The prescribe syllabi and examination standard compare favorably with the standard of under-graduate work developed like the U.K, USA and Canada.
The Civil Engineering Department offers Post-Graduate Program with specialization in Structure Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Geographical Engineering. The program is of two years duration for full time students. The department has procured computers and latest equipment for laboratories to meet the research and other requirement for the Post-Graduate Program.
